Graphic CAD Designer

(Full Time Position)



Standard Printers provide packaging, printing, sign and display and solutions to the medical industry as well as the commercial sector.


Job Description:

The Graphic CAD Designer is responsible for managing technical quality aspects, working closely with the operations team to deliver on achieving all key department metrics. ISO experience a distinct advantage.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute projects from concept to completion.
  • Building out visual designs and prototypes
  • Design packaging, print and signage.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working within a design department or other creative team environment.
  • Comfortable with graphic design using Adobe suite of applications on Mac
  • Knowledge of Design, knowledge of layout, colour and typography.
  • Strong Interaction design skills, working with other designers.
  • Ability to handle a high volume workload, timely and efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills, ability to verbalize ideas and concepts when dealing with customers.
  • Other Graphic Design duties as assigned.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • CAD or other prepress experience helpful

Production / Customer Service Representative

(Full Time Position)



Job Description:

Under the general direction of the Sales Manager, candidate will partner with the production and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained and identify opportunities for new business.


Responsibilities:

  • Cover the front desk, answer inbound phone calls and monitor primary shop email account
  • Review customer orders and properly enters them into billing system prior to sending to production departments
  • Greet, handle, process, and manage all walk in traffic business
  • Be responsible for receipt of all incoming deliveries/packing slips
  • Initiates client follow up on orders to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Support Sales Team including generating reports and notifications of customer issues regarding upcoming orders, special deliveries, billing, and other general questions
  • Conducts outbound sales calls to clients to inquire about opportunities for business, order follow up, and reports to the sales manager any opportunities for account growth
  • Provide backup for production department as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Print industry experience preferred but not necessary

  • Leaving Cert or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent customer service skills both over the phone and in person
  • Adobe Suite Experience an advantage
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Good organizational skills
